Print Mounting
Print mounting is done by applying an adhesive to the mounting material and passing the artwork and material through two large pressure rollers. This process is not heat mounting nor vacuum mounting. It is good for one sided mounting, but because we apply adhesive to the entire board we cannot “spot mount” (place a picture within an oversize mounting area with a border), or mount double sided. We recommend mounting prints that can be reprinted. For one-of-a-kind originals, we recommend making a copy of the artwork through scanning or digital copy work, and creating a new print to mount. That way if dust or an imperfection occurs in the process, the original art is not compromised. For pricing on sizes not listed please call Digital Imaging at (303) 443-1707 ext. 124.
*3/16th gator above 16x20 will warp and bend. All Gator orders above 24x30 will be mounted on ½ inch. Foam core recommended to be put in frames only as it is less sturdy than Gator Foam. Gator Foam can have edging for a finished look.

Print Laminating
3 mil laminate that is unmounted is susceptible to rolling and thus we recommend applying it to mounted prints. 10 mil is less prone to this but can still roll especially on larger sizes. Accushield is used for outdoor applications such as laminating vinyl banners for outdoor signage.

Next Day Mats
Next Day custom cut mats are available in an assortment of colors and are a perfect way to customize a ready made frame. Next day mats and mounting are done through the Custom Framing Department. Multiple openings are charged as follows: 2-4 openings, $5.00 each, 5 or more $3.00 each.
