Mike’s Camera has a long tradition of being the premier print lab in Colorado. Generations of Boulder and Denver residents have long trusted us with their memories. What you may not know is that in addition to our one-hour photo services we offer an amazing variety of print options for every level of photographer. You don’t have to be Ansel Adams to create a stunning work of photographic art. We have the tools, expertise and experience to help you achieve your vision no matter how great or small.

Do you have a gallery show coming up? We can create acid free Giclee prints ready for sale, as well as cut custom mats and build frames for your exact needs. Opening a store front or remodeling your business? We can do all of your signage including mounted posters, backlit displays and laminated vinyl banners for the outside. Are you in the wedding or event photography business? Take advantage of our premium paper selections, including Metallic and Pro Lustre finishes to distinguish your proofs and sale prints from your competition.

Lab Prints - Order in-store or online

Lab prints can be ordered in the store at the counter, at our self service kiosk, or online right now! Ready as quickly as one-hour. Choose from Glossy or Matte finishes or upgrade to Metallic or Pro Lustre to stand out. We offer a variety of enhancements on the fly, including red-eye reduction/removal, cropping, black and white/sepia conversion as well as printing DPOF information and custom back printing.

Lab prints can be ordered from any digital media (RGB color space, please), 35mm negatives or APS film. Each image is color corrected, printed digitally and chemically processed. We use Fuji Crystal Archive paper and chemistry for the best color rendition and longevity in the industry.

Poster Prints - Order in-store or online

For larger sizes than the lab prints take advantage of our poster print service. From 16x20 up to 44x96 in size, we can make your image larger than life. Choose from Enhanced Matte, Premium Semi-Matte, Premium Lustre, Premium Glossy and Matte Poster board finish. Be sure to look at our mounting and laminating services and consider how we can help you protect as well as hang and display your poster. Legacy Members save 10%.

Fine Art Giclee Prints - Order in-store or online

The word Giclee (pronounced “zhee-clay”) is French for “spraying of inks”. A Giclee print is hard to distinguish from an original work of art. An excellent choice for reproducing original art from watercolor, pastel, pen & ink, charcoal, pencil and other mediums. Also choice for the serious photographic artist concerned with longevity and exact color reproduction. Legacy members save 10%.

Vinyl Banners - Order in-store

Vinyl banners must be laminated with Accushield for outdoor use. Vinyl banners are perfect for point of purchase, parties, promotions and other special events. Vinyl is available up to 42” wide by any length. Grommets are available for $1.00 each.

Stretched Canvas Wall Art - Order in-store or online

We offer both stretched and unstretched canvas prints. The price chart below includes stretching and stretcher bars. Think about whether you want the image to wrap around the stretcher bars or to stop on the edge of the front. We offer both a ¾ inch standard wrap and a 2 inch gallery wrap (see in-store for sample.)

Stretched canvas prints are great for both works of arts and traditional photographs. They have a unique look and feel and display beautifully in frames or simply hung on the wall. Combine this with some simple artist rendering effects, such as a water color effect or an Andy Warhol effect and turn an ordinary photograph into a work of art!

Custom Digital Prints - Order in-store

Our Custom Digital Print service is our 21^st century replacement of traditional color darkroom printing. We use a Fuji Pictography 4500. Pictography prints are considered some of the most true-to-life digital prints available. Included in the price is color levels adjustment and dodging and burning of areas in Photoshop to render the most amount of detail and best possible color. Choose from Glossy or Matte.

Prints from Slide

We offer two levels of digital slide printing: Standard and Deluxe. Standard prints from slide use the same printer as the Lab Prints and include basic color and contrast correction. Deluxe prints are printed using the same method as Custom Digital Prints. Slides are scanned and levels adjustments are made to match the slide exactly. Both services offer Glossy and Matte finishes.

Custom Black and White Prints - Order in-store

You won’t find very many labs left in the Denver metro area or anywhere else that still offer true custom black and white prints. We take pride in being both on the cutting edge of technology while also continuing to keep alive traditional methods. Our custom black and prints include dodging and burning and spotting of dust. We print using Ilford RC papers although other papers can be used upon request. We offer Glossy, Pearl (luster) and Satin (matte) finishes.

Locket Prints - Order in-store

We’ll never say no to an unusual service request. Locket prints are an example of that. Bring in your locket or other unusually sized or shaped object and we’ll measure it, scan the photo or negative you want to put inside of it, resize the scan and print and trim it!

Scrapbooking Pages - Order in-store

Digital scrapbooking and collage pages are created using one of our photo kiosks. Bring in digital files or scans we have made for you and place them in unique bordered templates or simple collage pages.

Metallic Prints and Pro Lustre - Order in-store

Metallic paper is a super-high gloss, high definition photo paper. Try printing pictures of textures, wedding portraits, black and white images or high contrast colors to maximize it’s effect. Pro Lustre is a simple but elegant lustre textured paper surface. Lustre is often thought of as between glossy and matte in texture and appearance. This paper has no watermark on the back and no back printing, leaving it for the photographer to stamp or sticker with his or her information or to use as a photo card.

Modeling Photographic Resume - Order in-store

If you’re a model looking to get your resume out, or a modeling photographer, we have a service that is custom catered to you. We understand the importance of standing out of the crowd. Give us your written resume in a .pdf or word document format, complete with logos or designs on it, as well as your headshot. We’ll print the headshot on our Pro Lustre paper and then print the resume on the blank back using a commercial laser printer. The result is a single page resume that stands out from the rest!
