Tapes Transferred to DVD

Transferring your video camera tapes is a great way to archive, share and view your home movies, events on tape and other important video. Don’t risk losing your footage, upgrade it to DVD today! This service provides a playable DVD that can be viewed in most DVD players and computers.

To do editing at home you’ll need to have your video encoded into an editable format at the same time. The encoding service will give you back a data DVD with the editable files in addition to a playable DVD.

It’s our normal policy to put one tape to one DVD unless told otherwise. This allows us to record at the highest possible quality setting. Creating a DVD longer than 2 hours long results in inferior quality. We will combine tapes if requested, it is a $5.00 charge per combination.

$35.00 is the setup charge for the entire order-20 tapes would only pay $35.00 plus $12.50 per hour for the remainder of the footage playback which is determined not by the length of the tape but by how much footage is actually recorded on it: thus, we can’t often give an accurate price quote until we time each tape.

DVD Slideshows

Our slideshows are a complete presentation ready to go from the box. Add our Collector’s Edition custom DVD packaging to make your memorial presentation, wedding video or home movie collection look just as professional as the rest of your DVD collection.

Our DVD slideshows include a DVD menu with music, music throughout the whole slideshow and cross fade transitions. We will take music that you provide and songs are played in their entirety. If you require music to match up to individual slides or for music to be cut to specific lengths to fit in certain sections will also charge a pro-rated DVD authoring charge based on the amount of time the additional work takes. No job is too big or too small!

Complete DVD Slideshow Package

The Complete DVD Slideshow Package combines Bulk Scanning, Economy Slideshow creation and Collector’s Edition DVD Packaging into one price. It is good for up to 75 slides or 150 prints scanned with your music, basic DVD menu and one Collector’s Edition DVD package. Additional DVD’s can be ordered-see Collector’s Edition for pricing. Additional images can be scanned at $.50 cents an image up to 100 additional total.

Custom DVD and CD Packaging

Collector’s Edition DVDs are our fully customizable DVD packaging. This service includes layout and design for the DVD face and the insert in the DVD movie case. We can take images from any legal source; your video content, slideshow, print or slide, a file on your camera card. We will arrange the text and images to your specification, if you prefer to just leave it up to us and we’ll show you a proof before the project is completed.

DVD Duplication

The best way to archive your memories is to share them! Don’t just keep a copy of your home movies for yourself, be sure to make duplicates for your friends and family. After all, the hard part is done. Now that you have your memories on DVD take advantage of our quick, easy and affordable professional DVD duplication services.

DVD Authoring & Custom Editing

Do you need a DVD from multiple sources put together, edited with a professional menu and chaptering? Do you need sections of audio or video enhanced and quality improved? Did your cameraman shoot your wedding upside and you need it rotated? All of these requests and more can be accomplished with our DVD authoring services.

Custom editing by appointment gives you the opportunity to sit down with a trained video technician and work one-on-one on your project. Some projects may involve DVD authoring as well as a few custom editing appointments throughout. Custom editing can be combined with other services such as slideshows or Tape Transfers to meet your specific needs.

Still frame grabs are also by appointment. We will setup the appointment when you drop off their footage. We request you leave the original media with us and give us two days to import the footage into our computer. Then during the appointment pick out exactly what frame you would like extracted from the video as a .TIFF image file.

Reel Film Transfers

Don’t let your home movies fade a minute longer! Take advantage of our comprehensive reel film transfer services today. We can put your 8mm, super 8mm or 16mm film reels, color correct them and transfer them to DVD. We can also encode the DVD to an Mpeg-4 format for home editing purposes. Be sure to make copies for your family!

Some super 8mm and 16mm can have sound. If there is a sound strip on the film we will transfer the sound. Sound quality has often deteriorated. Note we cannot transfer Super 16mm.

Tapeless Camera Services

Tapeless is the future of video cameras. Cameras that store directly to mini-DVD, hard drives or flash media are growing in popularity and shrinking in price. We offer a variety of services to meet your needs. Sometimes you don’t have time to plug-in the camera, copy the data to your computer and author a disk. We can do as much or as little as you need.

Data Archive Disks are backup disks of just the raw camera files. Consider if you shoot tapes you have a backup copy of all of your footage on tape plus the DVDs you’ve made of them over the years. If you lose the DVD, it gets scratched, someone borrows it and never returns it-with tape you have a backup. This service creates a backup copy for you to store so that nothing gets lost.

Duplication to VHS

We can duplicate to VHS from VHS, S-VHS, VHS-C, Hi-8, Video8, Betamax and Mini-DV using high quality commercial duplication decks. Prices include Professional Grade tapes, cardboard sleeves and spine labels. AV Master Grade tapes and SVHS tapes are available at an additional charge. Duplication services are direct copies of originals “as is”, with no editing.
