Photography Workshops

Photography Workshops. Mike’s Camera offers Photography Workshops that are catered to specific types of shooting styles, including macro photography, landscape photography, portrait photography, lighting, and flash photography. These workshops are held at various times throughout the year, at different venues around the Denver-Boulder Metro area, and even in the beautiful mountain parks and forests bordering our communities. Please check our website often for workshop schedules.

Things to Bring to Your Workshop. Be sure that when you come to class, you bring the following items with you: your camera (with a fully charged battery), a clean memory card (so none of your important images get accidentally erased), paper and pen to take notes, your prepaid workshop coupon or payment, and your camera manual. Depending on the workshop subject, location, duration, and season, other items may be necessary. We will list those either in the online workshop description, or individually in other communications with participants.

How to Register for a Workshop. Workshops often enlist supplemental instructors or resources, and are usually held off-site, so Perfect Picture Pak class certificates cannot be used towards the purchase of a workshop.

The cost of each workshop varies with its curriculum, location and other associated costs. As a workshop participant, you're encouraged to bring along your camera as well as any photos you've taken that you'd like to have critiqued, both for composition and technical execution. However, we ask you to limit such photographs to the subject of the workshop, to keep the group on task.

To register for a workshop, please follow the instructions for registration detailed in the specific workshop outline below. Through our photography workshops, we look forward to doing whatever we can to help you enjoy the world’s greatest hobby to its absolute fullest extent!
